The Come Sit With Me Ancestor Sage Bundle Trio is handcrafted with True California Black Sage — Salvia mellifera and dressed in the signature Black Girl Conjure black-and-gold aesthetic.
Every bundle is dressed with a black rose intentionally.
For Black Girl Conjure, the Black Rose represents the flower that grew where nobody expected it to grow.
Our ancestors created beauty in places that were never designed for them to flourish. They built families from separation, homes from scarcity, traditions from fragments, joy alongside grief, and futures they themselves might never live long enough to see.
We are those futures.
We are the Black roses that grew through the concrete.
The black rose wrapped around each Come Sit With Me bundle honors that survival. The gold thread represents what continued through the generations—the wisdom, prayers, protection, stories, lessons and love passed from their hands into ours.
The concrete did not stop the root.
The hardship did not end the bloodline.
And what they planted is still growing.
At the center of every bundle is True California Black Sage (Salvia mellifera), an aromatic sage native to California and parts of Baja California.
True Black Sage is not sage artificially dyed black. Its naturally dried leaves can range from deep green and gray-green to earthy brown and charcoal.
Its strong, earthy, herbaceous character provides the botanical foundation of the Come Sit With Me collection.
We then dress each bundle with mini black roses, dark botanical accents and delicate metallic-gold wrapping, bringing together the symbolism of root, survival, remembrance and continuation.

Speak their names. Remember their stories. Pray. Listen. Give yourself permission to simply sit at the altar without asking for anything.

Each is hand-dressed with our signature Black Rose from the Concrete botanical presentation and metallic-gold wrapping.
Because these are natural botanical products, variations in color, size, shape and texture are expected.
Remove decorative roses, floral accents, metallic thread and other non-burning embellishments before lighting unless specifically identified as burn-safe. Always use a fire-safe vessel, provide adequate ventilation and never leave burning materials unattended.
