After surviving childhood colorism and abuse in Jamaica, Keisha transforms into Cypress — a pale, blonde beauty mogul whose billion-dollar skincare empire “Cypress Essence” is built on a deadly secret: the cream only works with fresh human essence. When her past and her husband David close in, she must decide how far she’ll go to keep the dark from returning.
